Student Artwork on Display in New Gallery
The Student Works Gallery is back and better than ever! The newly renovated space has just been re-opened, and is all set for new and exciting displays. New artwork that is created and curated by Rutgers–Camden students will be on display throughout the remainder of the Fall Semester and again in the Spring semester.

A special collaborative exhibit where writers and visual artists showcase ways in which they inspire each other’s work.

Opening Reception: December 6th, Free Period. Lunch provided.
The Art of Critique
Fall semester final critiques will be hosted in the gallery. Afterwards, selected work will be exhibited with an opportunity for students to try “the art of critique!”

Free One-Act Plays Come to Life in Black Box Studio
This year’s Student Directed One-Act Play Festival dives into the Absurdist Abyss and goes to a whole new level with a lineup of absurdist works. Our talented students take to the stage and go behind the scenes to produce some of their favorite plays by some of the best known absurdist playwrights including Samuel Beckett, David Ives, Jean Genet, and more!
Admission is free! Seating is limited, so please arrive early.

Ring in the Holidays with Festive, FREE Concerts
The Holiday Season is here, and the Rutgers-Camden music program is ready to help everyone get into the spirit with several free concert events!
On Tuesday, December 6th at 12:30pm, the Rutgers University Singers come together with several guest choirs from around the area to bring some festive holiday choral music to the Gordon Theater. The RU Singers will be joined by the wonderfully talented Camden Creative Arts High School and more! The performance will be held in the Walter K. Gordon Theater on the Rutgers-Camden Campus.
Admission is Free
Tuesday, December 6th at 12:30pm.
On Sunday, December 11th at 2pm, three of the prominent on-campus performing ensembles will come together to present the Department of Fine Arts’ annual holiday concert, Sounds of the Season. This flagship concert event will feature the Rutgers University Singers, the Rutgers-Camden Jazz Ensemble, the Rutgers-Camden String Ensemble, as well as soloists and several Rutgers-Camden Faculty members performing seasonal selections. The performance will be held in the Walter K. Gordon Theater on the Rutgers-Camden Campus.
Admission is Free!
Sunday, December 11th at 2:00pm.
A few days later, the Rutgers–Camden Jazz Ensemble will present a concert of their own. Directed by Professor Eric Polack, the Jazz Ensemble will present a feel-good set of holiday favorites and jazz standards. Selections include several holiday/Christmas themed tunes, as well as some recognizable jazz favorites. Professor Polack’s ensemble will put a jazzy spin on some holiday tunes, and soothe the spirits of the audience to kick off the holidays. The performance will be held in the Black Box Studio on the Rutgers-Camden Campus.
Admission is Free!
